This week Formech visited the WestPack show, co-located with other UBM Canon events such as Design & Manufacturing, Plastec, and Aerocon.
We were able to re-connect with many existing customers and get the low down on new West Coast developments in the packaging, manufacturing, medical, and aerospace; all of which are relevant to our business.
Some of the existing customers that we ran into include:
3M: Utilizes our previous version 508FS vacuum forming machine for R&D
Ametek: A fully automatic TF customer that makes trays for transporting electrical devices
Bemis: Owns a desktop vacuum forming machine, Formech 300XQ, for packaging design
Freetech Plastics: Has a Formech Compac Mini for testing materials
Merit Medical: Recent customers that will develop medical packaging with their new Formech 686
PolyOne: Tests materials on the predecessor of our new model 686
Stratasys: Partners and customers, samples for proving 3D printing concepts for customers (on a Formech 508FS)
Strukmeyer: R&D Testing on a Formech 300XQ
TE Connectivity: Small electronic components on their Formech 300XQ
This is just a snapshot of the many different industries and applications where Formech machines are found.
